16th Street Mall Permitting Program

The Downtown Denver Business Improvement District (BID) manages various facets of the right-of-way along the 16th Street Mall to ensure an attractive and vibrant pedestrian environment.

The Mall Use Committee--a group comprised of representatives from the BID, the City's Public Works Department, the City's Deptarment of Environmental Health, District Six Police Department, Mounted Patrol and RTD--meets monthly to review standards, policies and applications for numerous Mall uses.

The Downtown Denver Partnership, Inc. is a non-profit business organization that creatively plans, manages and develops Downtown Denver as the unique, diverse, vibrant and economically healthy urban core of the Rocky Mountain region.

 

The BID is a public organization funded by private commercial property owners. It funds cleaning & maintenance, safety initiatives and targeted marketing for Downtown Denver.
