2009 Downtown Denver Award Winners

The Downtown Denver Partnership honored six award winners on April 28th at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center during the 49th Annual Downtown Denver Awards Dinner, sponsored by Polsinelli Shughart PC.  As a celebration of achievements in the Downtown Denver community, the six winners were selected by a 23 person jury convened by the Downtown Denver Partnership. Approximately 800 individuals attended the annual Awards Dinner.

“It is important to note that projects and initiatives do not win these awards just because they are ‘new’,” said Tami Door, President & CEO of the Downtown Denver Partnership. “Some of our award winners overcame significant hurdles in the past year.  Others have created new opportunities to attract visitors and business to Downtown Denver. All of them have inspired us with their contributions to the vitality of our urban center.”
