Tamara Door, President &CEO
Tamara ("Tami") leads four separate non-profit organizations under the umbrella of the Downtown Denver Partnership, one of the oldest and largest Downtown organizations in the country. Tami sits on six external boards of directors, and is Chairman of the Auraria Higher Education Center Board.
Amanda Jimenez, Executive Administrative Manager
Amanda assists the President with scheduling and administrative responsibilities as needed. She also organizes and manages the Partnership’s three boards, and oversees the front desk position.
Claudia Gutierrez, Receptionist
Claudia manages the front desk, referring calls to the appropriate staff, and managing Parking Card sales. She also assists staff with specific projects on an as needed basis.
Membership Department
Beth Warren, Membership Manager
Beth is responsible for all membership recruitment and retention efforts, in addition to managing the Partnership’s sponsorship sales. She also is involved with the Downtown Denver Leadership Program, as well as the annual Urban Exploration Trip.
Bryan Lewis, Membership Sales Coordinator
Bryan is responsible for recruiting new members. He also provides support and assistance to the Senior Director of Economic Development, the Membership Manager and the Member Relations Specialist in their membership sales and retention efforts.
Bonnie Gross, Membership Coordinator
Bonnie is responsible for maintaining membership retention, including handling member relations, renewal revenue, database management, and directing member participation in DDP activities, initiatives and the Downtown Denver Leadership Program and Downtown Denver Leadership Alumni Association.
Public Affairs, Marketing & Communications Department
Brittany Morris Saunders, Vice President, Public Affairs
Brittany directs public policy, advocacy, government-relations and an array of public / private-sector projects for the Downtown Denver Partnership and the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District. She manages relationships with a broad stakeholder group, including the business community, public officials and non-profit organizations, as well as oversees the Marketing and Communications Department.
Jenny Starkey, Communications & Media Relations Manager
Jenny directs the Downtown Denver Partnership’s public relations, communications, and marketing, and acts as a spokesperson for media on topics related to Downtown Denver and the Partnership. She is also responsible for obtaining exposure for the Downtown Denver Partnership’s policies, events and achievements through media and oversees the research, composition, editing and management of all Downtown Denver Partnership communication vehicles including newsletters, social media, blogs, and the Downtown Denver Partnership website.
Anna Beaty, Marketing Manager
Anna manages the Downtown Denver Partnership’s marketing, branding, social media and communications programs and initiatives. She is responsible for the production and consistency in messaging, design and branding for all Downtown Denver Partnership programs, publications and events. She also coordinates and promotes media engagement, topics, policies, achievements and events related to Downtown Denver and the Partnership.
Economic Development Services
Jim Kirchheimer, Senior Vice President of Economic Development
Jim oversees the Partnership’s business retention, expansion and recruitment efforts, as well as its retail recruitment and retention and residential development activities. Jim also manages the Partnership’s Economic Development and Retail Councils and the Downtown Denver Leadership Program, in addition to overseeing the Partnership’s Membership Department. Jim represents the DDP on the LoDo District Board and the Metro Denver EDC’s Professionals Committee.

Brian Phetteplace, Sr. Manager of Economic Development
Brian is engaged with Downtown business recruitment, retention and expansion efforts, as well as residential development and retail recruitment and retention efforts. Brian monitors the progress of under-construction and planned/proposed developments, meeting with developers, owners, investors and brokers to ensure the success of their projects. Brian manages the Partnership’s LiveDowntownDenver Council, whose focus is growing Downtown’s residential population. In addition, Brian represents the Partnership on the Golden Triangle Board of Directors.
Downtown Environment
John Desmond, Executive Vice President of Urban Planning and Environment
Executive Director of the Business Improvement District
John manages the Downtown Environment department, and serves as the key administrator for the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District. John is currently overseeing the redevelopment of Downtown’s Tremont District and leading efforts to enhance 14th Street, Downtown's "Ambassador Street."
Kate Haher, Director of Pedestrian Environment
Kate manages policies and initiatives that effect the Pedestrian Environment including maintenance and operations of the Business Improvement District, permitting and special use of the Right-of-way, and streetscape improvements. She also serves as the Administrative Manager for the 14th Street General Improvement District and oversees maintenance and policies related to 14th Street.
Kathy Luciano, Downtown Environment Assistant
Kathy works on many projects and programs funded by the BID, specifically the Mall right of way program including the Mall vending program, banner poster flyer program and sidewalk café program. She also provides support to the Downtown Environment Department by assisting with administrative tasks associated with the BID Board and holiday light program.

Cord Rauba, 16th Street Marketplace Manager
As the 16th Street Marketplace Manager, Cord is focused on developing a vision for the outdoor retail (food and vending) mix and experience on 16th Street Mall. In addition to managing the Retail Merchandising Units, carts and kiosks on the Mall, Cord facilitates special events, short-term promotions and sampling opportunities. Working in conjunction with the Mall Use Committee and the Mall Vending Task Force, Cord seeks to achieve this vision by enhancing the Marketplace Vending Program and activating the 16th Street Mall to engage all visitors of downtown Denver.
Ryan Sotirakis, Public Realm Specialist
Ryan is responsible for reviewing and developing design guidelines for elements in Downtown’s public realm, monitoring and conducting inventories of streetscape amenities, researching streetscape initiatives and assisting with the 16th Street Mall and Arapahoe Square planning processes.
Susan Fry, BID Operations Manager
Susan manages the Operations in the Business Improvement District to assure that the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District is clean, safe and attractive. She oversees the BID maintenance contracts, supervises the Downtown Service Coordinators, works closely with public agencies involved in Downtown operational issues and manages the Ambassador Program.
David Ballinger, Downtown Service Coordinator
Dave works with Charlie Hunt to serve as the eyes and ears of DDP/BID on the street, enforcing regulations and working with property owners, outreach workers and ambassadors to ensure Downtown is safe, clean and vibrant.
Charlie Hunt, Downtown Service Coordinator
Charlie works with Dave Ballinger to serve as the eyes and ears of DDP/BID on the street, enforcing regulations and working with property owners, outreach workers and ambassadors to ensure Downtown is safe, clean and vibrant. Charlie is the current President of the LoDo Rotary Club and member of the Rotary District 5450 Peace Corps Alliance Committee, sits on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless Forum Housing, and is an active member of the Golden Triangle Association Good Neighbor Committee.
Aylene McCallum, Sr. Manager, Transportation & Research
Aylene tracks policies and initiatives that impact access to/from/around Downtown Denver, and develops programs that incentivize individuals to use sustainable modes of transportation. She also manages the Partnership’s Urban Exploration program and the Transportation and Development Council. Aylene is a co-chair of the Mayor's Parking Commissionand also sits on the Mayor's Bicycle Advisory Committee.
Emily Brett, Downtown Research CoordinatorEmily is responsible for coordinating activities within the Partnership’s research department , including the collection, management and analysis of data concerning Downtown Denver, serving as lead author of the Partnership’s major reports such as the State of Downtown Denver, Downtown Denver Commuter Survey and other timely reports, as well as acting as the primary point of contact for external requests for information about Downtown Denver.
Aneka Patel, Transportation Outreach Coordinator
Aneka works closely with Downtown Denver employers to implement programs and create marketing materials that incentivize and encourage Downtown Denver employees to use sustainable modes of transportation. She also coordinates the collection of Downtown Denver parking information and manages the dissemination of that information to the general public.
Events
Susan Rogers Kark, Executive Vice President, Events
Executive Director Downtown Denver Events
Susan oversees the Partnership’s signature special events including A Taste of Colorado, 9News Parade of Lights, the Southwest Rink at Skyline Park, New Year’s Eve Fireworks, Grand Illumination and Skyline Park Events. Her department is also responsible for DDP's Annual Meeting and the Downtown Denver Annual Awards Dinner. Susan manages Downtown Denver Events, Inc., the Partnership’s public events arm and sits on the board and executive committee of the MetroDenver Sports Commission.
Lorinn C. Rhodes, Event Operations Manager
Lorinn serves as the Partnership’s project manager for the Southwest Rink at Skyline Park, New Year’s Eve Fireworks, Downtown’s Grand Illumination and Skyline Park events. She also assists with operations for the Parade of Lights and consults with other event producers to encourage and attract events to Downtown Denver and to Skyline Park. Currently, Lorinn is developing a new event for downtown, “Make Music Denver”, which will combine scheduled musical performances and public participation in a celebration of music throughout Downtown. (“Make Music Denver” is part of an international day of music, scheduled for June 21, 2012)
Nneka Johnson, Event Development Manager
Nneka develops and implements funding strategies for events, including the fundraising campaign for the annual Parade of Lights. She also assists with event sponsor fulfillment. She manages the venues and logistics for the Partnership’s business meetings and events and also serves as the DDP staff liaison for the Downtown Denver Annual Awards Jury. Nneka sits on the board of Community Shares Colorado.
Jen Cravens, Event Operations Specialist
Jen manages “Your Keys to the City”, an interactive art program featuring pianos placed on the 16th Street mall for public use. In addition, she coordinates the Downtown Denver Grand Illumination and provides operational support to TubaChristmas. She trains & manages over 100 volunteers for A Taste of Colorado. Jen provides planning, programming and operational support to the Southwest Rink, Make Music Denver and to various Skyline Park events.
Estella Wolff, Event Coordinator
Estella oversees the reservations and ticket sales for the Annual Meeting and Downtown Denver Annual Awards Dinner and assists with coordination and marketing for all of the Partnership’s signature special events. She also works on programming and fundraising for the Parade of Lights and on event sponsorship.
Support Services
Louis Kennedy, Vice President of Finance and Administration
Louis manages the accounting and human resources responsibilities for the Partnership and Business Improvement District.
Jody Zatorski, Staff Accountant & HR Assistant
Jody maintains the accounting and financial records of the various Partnership entities and supports all facets of the financial and administrative functions including but not limited to budgeting, personnel services, banking and insurance.
Renee Ostuni, Staff Accountant
Renee provides administrative support in accounts payable / receivable for the BID and DDP.
