Overview
In our first international excursion, the Downtown Denver Partnership led 61 Downtown Denver leaders, business leaders, elected officials, and key city staff members on its third annual Urban Exploration trip to Vancouver, British Columbia on June 6 - 8, 2010. The trip focused on several major programs that have transformed Downtown Vancouver, including housing options, transportation and accessibility, urban form, public realm and economic development. Urban Explorers met with key stakeholders who have led Downtown Vancouver’s major transformative initiatives and learned how we can achieve objectives laid out in the Downtown Area Plan.
