Downtown Office Market Boom
Denver's Downtown office market is doing exceptionally well and has seen a lease rate increase of 23 percent in the last 12 months. Asking rents for CBD Class A office rates are now over $33.00 with Class B asking rents over $25.00 (Grubb & Ellis, 4Q 2007). Several new developments in the Lower Downtown and Central Platte Valley areas of town will be adding over 2.6 million SF of office space.

National and International Connections

Denver International Airport (DIA) is the fifth businest airport in the U.S. and ranks the 10th busiest in the world (Bureau of Transportation Statistics, 2007).

DIA is home to 30 commercial airlines providing nonstop service to over 130 domestic and international destinations including cities in Canada, Europe, and Mexico.

DIA had its busiest year ever in 2006, with 47.3 million travelers passing through the airport (Denver International Airport, 2007). These t ravelers voted DIA the best airport in North American for the second years in a row (Business Traveler Magazine, 2007).
