Downtown Denver is one of the largest and most diverse shopping areas in the Rocky Mountain Region, with over 3.5 million square feet of retail space. Downtown has an excellent mix of retail, with a diverse selection of more than 1,000 retailers and restaurants/bars.

ExperienceDowntownDenver is an online, user-friendly, animated guide to all Downtown retail. If you are looking for a place to have dinner and want to know where to park or, if you are planning to open a business Downtown and want to find available space, we invite you to visit www.ExperienceDowntownDenver.com.
Pedestrian counts are conducted annually from June through December. Pedestrian count data is now available online at ExperienceDowntownDenver.com. Go to the Commercial Directory and click on the "Ped Count" icon (see icon below) to reveal two-hour count averages and locations on the map. For historical data, visit the Research page where you will find 2005 and 2006 pedestrian count packages in PDF format.
COMMERCIAL DIRECTORY: Developers, Brokers & Retailers
The first dimension of the map focuses on the needs of the development and retail community. It contains information that is particularly relevant to companies interested in doing retail development or retailers desiring to locate in Downtown Denver.

PUBLIC DIRECTORY: Shoppers & Retailers
The second part will appeal more to the consumer. As a one-stop-shop for Downtown visitors, residents, employees and students, this section identifies all of the shops, restaurants, nightclubs and available services and amenities, including where they are and how to get there.
