16th Street Mall and Skyline Park
November 23 through mid-January
The 16th Street Mall, Skyline Park, California and Curtis Streets between 14th and 16th will be illuminated with hundreds of thousands of sparkling lights throughout the holiday season. Giant holiday snowflakes will also be hung along California and Curtis Streets.

In support of Greenprint Denver, the City and County of Denver’s economic and environmental action plan for long-term sustainability, the Business Improvement District (BID) has purchased Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights for the entire 16th Street Mall for the holiday season. Downtown’s property owners and managers were also encouraged to purchase the LED llights which use 90% less electricity and last as long as 20 years.
This year there will be a 22ft tree lit with blue and white LED lights. The lightswill be choreographed to 6 different holiday songs and will run continuously except when turned off for other park programming.
