Marketplace on the Mall

If you’ve walked down the 16th Street Mall you've probably noticed the 16th Street Marketplace on the Mall program. The program is an assortment of local and national tenants, operated by the Downtown Denver Partnership. Vending locations are leased and carefully selected by Cord Rauba, DDP’s 16th Street Marketplace Manager.

The Marketplace on the Mall Vending Program adds vibrancy and elcectic dining and shopping options along the 16th Street mall. One of the best aspects of this program is that it operates as an incubator for businesses looking to test their products in the Downtown market before moving into an in-line store with higher rents. With nearly 100,000 people using the 16th Street Mall on a daily basis, they have ample opportunity to learn what works and what doesn’t.

The BID is a public organization funded by private commercial property owners. It funds cleaning & maintenance, safety initiatives and targeted marketing for Downtown Denver.
