2004 Project: Entrepreneurial & Small Business Assistance
The 2004 Leadership Program was charged with creating the framework, including strategic recommendations, that would identify the resources and action steps necessary to have Denver identified as a place where innovation, entrepreneurship and business expansion is supported and encouraged.

The class identified the concept of a central information clearinghouse as being the most important element in creating and assisting start-up and expanding companies. As a result, the Partnership collaborated with the City's Office of Small Business Development in the creation of the Business Assistance Center & Concierge Service, a resource that has worked with over 2,700 clients since January of 2005.
