Each year, members of Downtown Denver Partnership, Inc. volunteer their time, energy, creative and professional talents to make Downtown Denver a better place to work, live and play. Our members devote countless hours to serve on committees, champion important Downtown issues and causes, coordinate events and donate their business expertise and resources to further the positive growth and development of our Downtown community.

Every year, all Partnership members are invited to the Annual Meeting--an opportunity to celebrate our achievements during the last year, as well as to set the agenda for the upcoming year. In addition, we will honor up to four individuals as Volunteer Partner of the Year, as well as one member who will receive special recognition as an Honorary Partner.

Volunteer Partner of the Year
These notable volunteers must have made a special contribution during the period of July 1, 2007 - June 30, 2008. Nominations are open to all Partnership members, not just board members or committee chairs. The nominee must have participated in, and contributed significantly to the success of a Partnership program or project in one or more of the following areas: Advocacy, Marketing, Public Relations, Transportation Management, Economic Development, Housing, Festival and Events.

Honorary Partner Award
Downtown Denver Partnership, Inc. established the Honorary Partner Award in 1995 to recognize individuals who have demonstrated exceptional long-term commitment to Downtown Denver and Downtown Denver Partnership, Inc.

Nominees for the Honorary Partner Award must have been associated with Downtown Denver Partnership, Inc. for a minimum of 10 years, and have made contributions to the vibrancy, diversity and uniqueness of Downtown Denver by participating on various committees, task forces and projects. Honorary Partners also can be nominated for their extraordinary contributions to the field of urban planning and development in Downtown.

We encourage our members to nominate one or more deserving individuals for these awards. There is no limit to the number of nominations made by an individual or organization. Self-nominations are welcome. You can fill out the online nomination form directly or print it out and fax or mail it to the Downtown Denver Partnership offices.

Deadline to submit nomination is May 26, 2008.
