Southwest Rink at Skyline Park

Southwest Airlines and the Downtown Denver Partnership invite you to grab your family and friends and head to 16th and Arapahoe in Downtown Denver to the Southwest Rink at Skyline Park! The rink will be open daily from November 26 – February 16.  Skate rental is $2 – or bring your own pair and skate for free! Free days for kids will take place every Sunday throughout the season.

Learn to Skate

On Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the rink season, learn to skate for free! Lessons free and open to all ages.

Saturdays: 8am – 10am

Wednesdays: 11am – 12pm

Broomball Challenge

Broomball is a non-contact sport, similar to ice hockey played in sneakers. The object is to score more goals than the opposition. Are you ready for a challenge?  This is not a tournament, nor a league; it is a one-time game… A CHALLENGE. Gather a team, challenge a rival, pick a date and time to play. Teams of 6-12 adults 18 and over, with 6 on the ice at a time. Teams must be COED (two women must be on the ice at all times).  Each game consists of two 20-minute periods with a 5-minute halftime.

When: Through February 6; Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, & 9:30 pm

Skating Field Trip

Want to be a rock star teacher and take your students on an out-of-the-ordinary field trip? We would love to help you plan a visit, especially during the month of January! To sign up your school, please email southwestrink@downtowndenver.com. When: Starting January 6th, any weekday except Wednesdays & Fridays Time: Southwest Rink opens to the public at 12pm; anytime before then is open just for schools!
