The Partnership places significant value on maintaining a socially inclusive and activated urban environment through free community events in Downtown Denver. A Taste of Colorado supports several of the vision elements identified in the 2007 Downtown Area Plan, including creating a diverse city through family-friendly events and fostering a green Downtown by bolstering the activation of Civic Center Park. The Festival is an opportunity for people throughout the region to come together to experience and appreciate our diverse cultural traditions and to learn about our state’s western heritage. A Taste of Colorado highlights visual and performing arts in addition to featuring educational program and culinary demonstrations.
