Q: How much is parking downtown?
A: Average daily rates for private garage and surface parking lots in the Central Business District are approximately $7.00. On-street parking rates are $1.00 per hour, with free parking on Sundays.
Q: Where can I park overnight downtown?
A: Most hotels offer overnight parking for their guests. If you are staying with friends who live downtown or looking for an alternative to your hotel's parking garage, several lots offer some form of overnight parking. Many of these lots though, end their overnight parking rates at 6am, so be sure to carefully read the lot's signs concerning rates. For the most part, there is no overnight on-street parking in downtown.
Q: Is that bus that runs along the 16th Street Mall really free?
A: Yes! The RTD FREE Mall Ride Shuttle stops at each block along the 16th Street Mall. Just hop on when the doors open at any of the stops along the Mall. The shuttle runs at frequent intervals throughout the day between Civic Center Station and Union Station.
Q: How much does the light rail cost?
A: Depending on the length of your trip, fares are between $1.75 and $4.00 each way. Trips travelling through one or two fare zones cost $1.75 each way, trips travelling through three fare zones cost $3.00 each way and trips travelling through four fare zones cost $4.00. Light rail tickets can be used as transfers to bus routes and vice versa.
Q: How frequently does light rail run into downtown?

Q: How do I get to the airport from downtown and how much does it cost?
A: The flat taxi rate to the airport from downtown is $46.00. SuperShuttle charges $19 for shuttle service to the airport. RTD's skyRide service costs $8 and leaves from Market Street Station.
