Taxis offer the option of getting to and from Downtown to other parts of the metro area, or as a way to visit other metro tourist attractions without renting a car. There are three major taxi companies serving Downtown Denver. The rates listed below are from August 2007.

303.444.4444 - $1.80 flag charge; $1.80/mile; $2.00 for the 2nd passenger; $1.00 ea. for 3 or more passengers.
Metro Taxi
303.333.3333 - $3.35 flag charge; $2.00/mile; no charge for extra passengers. Offering hybrid vehicles.
Yellow Cab
303.777.7777 - $2.50 flag charge; $2.75/mile; $1.00 per extra passenger. Offering hybrid vehicles.
