National "If You See Something, Say Something®" Awareness Day Events

Join the Downtown Denver Partnership and community partners on September 23 and 25 to learn more about safety and security in Downtown Denver.

We are all an important part of building a safe, welcoming and inclusive city. In light of National “If You See Something, Say Something®” Awareness Day on September 25, the Downtown Denver Partnership has joined with community partners to host three events that will increase awareness and knowledge surrounding safety and security in our center city:

 

Tuesday, September 23, 12 – 1:30 p.m.  |  Downtown Denver Partnership Office, 1515 Arapahoe St
Property owners and the business community are invited to a town hall to learn more about building a culture of safety and security in Downtown Denver. Representatives from the Downtown Denver Partnership, Denver Police Department, City of Denver, Department of Homeland Security and other community partners will provide updates and be available for questions and feedback.  |  Free RSVP

National “If You See Something, Say Something®” Awareness Day is September 25th and the Downtown Denver Partnership invites you to a special forum that will cover important information regarding safety and security in our city. You’ll hear from experts on tips to improve overall safety, what to do in cases of suspicious activity and more. This event is produced by the Downtown Denver Partnership in collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security, the Denver Police Department and the Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab (CELL).  |  Free RSVP

 

Downtown Denver Security Action Plan

The Downtown Denver Partnership and Downtown Denver Business Improvement District are committed to creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment in Downtown Denver. Completed in January 2016, the Downtown Denver Security Action Plan is a comprehensive and holistic look at how the private sector supports safety and security efforts. The plan details more than 240 action items ranging from improved lighting and management of alleys to enhancing communication programs among property owners and businesses.
