Amidst the pandemic, Urban Villages partnered with the City and County of Denver to close Larimer Square to vehicular traffic in order to accommodate more outdoor dining, create a comfortable space for people to gather, and support its businesses. On the corner of 15th and Platte, this mixed-use building combines commercial office space and ground-floor retail, while honoring the historic aesthetic of Platte Street. With a sustainable future in mind, developers worked with the City and County of Denver to use the development as an example of how to adopt green building practices. We are honored to have Platte Fifteen as a 2020 finalist.
