Economic Development Council

Chaired by David Haltom, Vice President for Patrinely Group, the Economic Development Council identifies, develops and facilitates the Partnership’s role in city, regional, and state economic development activities to enhance and maintain the economic vitality of Downtown Denver.

Member Experience Council

The Member Experience Council, chaired by Hollie Velasquez Horvath of Xcel Energy, establishes strategies and policy recommendations to ensure that the Downtown Denver Partnership recruits and retains business members from diverse industries representing Downtown Denver.

Mobility Council

The Mobility Council provides policy guidance and engages in planning processes to ensure Downtown Denver has enhanced mobility options and an integrated transportation network.

Public Realm Council

The Public Realm Council, chaired by Jon Gambrill of Gensler, provides policy guidance and tactical strategies to improve the overall experience of Downtown Denver’s public spaces through urban design, activation, streetscaping, and other public realm initiatives.

Development Council

The Development Council, chaired by Amy Cara of East West Partners, works to reduce barriers to development, identify development opportunities, and increase the supply of new housing in Downtown Denver and surrounding center city neighborhoods. The council reviews policies and initiatives, evaluates supply and demand balance, and drives innovation and connections within the development community.

Retail Council

The Retail Council, chaired by Pat McHenry of City Street Investors, pursues the goal of making Downtown Denver a metro and regional shopping destination by attracting national and first-to-market retailers to Downtown.

Property Owners Council

Serves as the advisory group to the Partnership to help inform strategic planning, marketing, and public policy related to downtown property investments.

Inclusivity Champions Committee

Inclusivity is a critical component for a successful Downtown Denver , and our organization is deeply committed to advancing inclusivity throughout all our initiatives, projects, and programs, in terms of what we create and how create it. To build a strong framework around inclusivity, we have launched an Inclusivity Champions Committee, chaired by Albus Brooks, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Millender White. Committee members will serve as visionaries and accountability partners as we move forward, and each of our Councils will appoint an Inclusivity Champion. Those Champions will each serve on the Inclusivity Council for the organization.

Inclusivity Champions Committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of every 3 months from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m.
