Urban Forest Initiative Tree Dedication Event
The Downtown Denver Partnership invites you to join us in celebrating a milestone in building a more resilient city. In ancient times trees were known to symbolize nourishment and transformation. In these uncertain times, our city needs nourishment and care.
On October 12th at 10 am, together with our partners at the City and County of Denver, we will be planting and dedicating a tree to symbolize hope and honor those who are nurturing our community.
The tree is being planted through our Urban Forest Initiative, a long-term visionary program to grow downtown’s tree canopy for the benefit of all. This tree is one of the first of many to come through this initiative. We hope you will join us to witness the beginning of the transformation of our city’s tree canopy.
