CIVIC CENTER TRANSIT DISTRICT MASTER PLAN COMPLETED
CIVIC CENTER TRANSIT DISTRICT MASTER PLAN
COMPLETED
RTD and the City and County of Denver, together with the Downtown
Denver Partnership and Downtown Denver Business Improvement District,
have completed the Civic Center Transit District Plan (CCTDP).
The CCTDP was a year-long process to establish a long-term vision and
identify near-term implementation options for the future of the station area
as a revitalized urban transit hub and new Downtown anchor.
The CCTDP includes options for transit operations, multi-modal mobility
and connectivity, public realm planning and economic development
opportunities within the transit district area.
The effort also involves analysis of short, medium and long-term
implementation strategies for a 20,000 square-foot developable parcel
along the north side of Colfax Avenue between Broadway and Lincoln
streets.
