“Press-tival” Invites Media to Preview Taste of Colorado
DENVER (August 5, 2021) – The Downtown Denver Partnership is proud to host the return of Taste of Colorado. This year’s collection of experiences has been reimagined in a new format that will be a city-wide celebration of local culture, food, music, art, nature, and urban adventure.
Set to take place over Labor Day Weekend (September 4 – 6, 2021), this year’s Taste of Colorado festival will bring the streets of Downtown Denver to life, with attractions for all ages spread throughout the center city.
“We’re excited to bring Taste of Colorado back in new ways in 2021,” said Sharon Alton, Senior Vice President of Downtown Experience at the Downtown Denver Partnership, “Connection and community are more important now than ever, and Taste will be spread across our urban core as we celebrate the local creativity, passion, and diversity that are a critically important part of our region’s fabric and culture.
Highlights of Taste of Colorado in 2021:
Taste of Colorado wouldn’t be the same without the FREE live music. Scope out the lineup of local artists and stage locations for this year’s festival here.
This showcase will be an intersection of art, community, nature, and Downtown Denver’s urban public realm.
Food offerings are exclusively local at this year’s Taste of Colorado. Restaurants with an existing physical location in Downtown Denver have a unique opportunity to join in the Taste celebration this year, as well as food trucks, booths, and more.
Stills in the City
Get into the “spirits” with Stills in the City at the 2021 Taste of Colorado! Stills in the City is a boozy bevy featuring dozens of local craft distilleries and hundreds of varieties of spirits. All Labor Day weekend, Skyline Park will transform into one big speakeasy, so grab some family and friends to sip, savor, and repeat.
Find unique arts and crafts, home and gift items, furniture, jewelry, and imports in one of the 50 booths of the Arts & Crafts Marketplace. Enjoy original works of art in Fine Art in the Park, a variety of mediums created by an array of artisans. Booths will be lined from Tremont to Arapahoe along the 16th Street. Mall.
Experience family-friendly fun for kids of all ages with Eurobungy, inflatables, Smiles the Clown, tiny tots zone, and more surprises to come.

Taste of Colorado will follow state and local public health orders and guidelines to ensure a safe event. Everyone working at or attending the event should:
- Stay home if they feel ill;
- Wear face coverings if you are not yet vaccinated;
- Practice physical distancing if you are not yet vaccinated;
- Wash hands/use hand sanitizer at the stations provided.
