2021 Travel Survey

The Downtown Denver Partnership has released the results of its 2021 Downtown Denver Travel Survey. The results of this 14th annual survey illustrate the disruptive impacts of the pandemic on employee travel behavior and shows that the prior predictability in commute patterns has been predominantly replaced by shifting workplace policies around teleworking and daily personal decisions around travel convenience, comfort, personal well-being.

It is too soon to know what mobility trends shown in this year’ downtown Denver travel survey are long-term, but if any lesson is to be learned, this year’s data confirm the importance of a mobility system that provides a diverse range of travel options.

The Downtown Denver Partnership tracks mobility data and trends as part of its commitment to create a robust and visionary mobility network in Downtown Denver that enhances transportation options for all users, connects to surrounding center city neighborhoods, and strengthens economic development opportunities by ensuring seamless regional connection.
