About the event
Morning at the Capitol brings Downtown Denver Partnership members together with state legislators and policy leaders for timely insights on the issues shaping Denver’s future. Hear directly from Rep. Alex Valdez, Rep. Steven Woodrow, and representatives from the Governor’s Office as they preview priorities for the 2026 legislative session—including transit, housing, AI, TIF, and entertainment districts. The morning will also include a brief Lobbying 101 overview to help attendees understand how to effectively engage during the upcoming session. Coffee and light bites provided.
