Building with Vision
At the Downtown Denver Partnership, we are building with vision. We are driven to make a meaningful impact, and to get there we must plan with purpose.
With a bias for action, we are investing in tomorrow, executing today. This carefully constructed plan begins with creating an impactful culture and a business community that will support every citizen. Addressing challenges and opportunities head on, with thoughtful strategy as our guide.
Our work spans a variety of initiatives that are interconnected and essential to building one of the most economically powerful center cities in the country. Initiatives-at-a-glance available here.

Skyline Park
Skyline Park sits in the heart of Downtown Denver, bridging Lower Downtown (LoDo) and Upper Downtown. Skyline spans three blocks and brings a variety of seasonal activities and events to serve as a central gathering place or the Downtown community. The Downtown Denver Partnership and Downtown Denver Business Improvement District manage programming, maintenance and other aspects of ensuring Skyline Park is a shining example of the unlimited potential of urban parks. Skyline Park will be undergoing major improvements, starting with Block 2. This project offers the opportunity to redesign an important public realm space to best fit the current and future needs of users.
Glenarm Plaza
Envisioned as the heart of Upper Downtown and inspired by the Upper Downtown Plan, Glenarm Plaza was identified as a potential pedestrian-friendly block in 2019 as part of the Upper Downtown Plan
Since 2020, the plaza has been closed to vehicle traffic. It will be undergoing redesign with completion slated for Fall 2025. Stretching from the Denver Pavilions to the iconic 16th Street Mall, Glenarm Plaza will foster a family friendly experience through the playful programming of a central gathering space in Upper Downtown.

5280 Trail
The Downtown Denver Partnership is leading efforts to create the 5280 Trail, a bold, visionary project that will transform how the public right-of-way is used in Downtown Denver. The 5280 will link neighborhoods and connect people by reimagining underutilized streets into the essential Downtown experience uniting urban life with Colorado’s outdoor culture.

Downtown Area Plan
Denver’s Downtown Area Plan, last updated in 2007, is a tool to help community leaders, decision-makers and community members build upon downtown’s assets and guide future development and public investment to reflect the community’s vision for a livable, healthy, sustainable and vibrant downtown.
Launched in September 2024, the City and County of Denver, in partnership with the Downtown Denver Partnership, is embarking on an exciting year-long journey to envision the future of Downtown Denver. Over the next 12 months, we’ll be working closely with the community to craft a bold and visionary plan for downtown.
