Downtown Denver closed out the third quarter of 2025 with remarkable momentum, with September 2025 marking the highest recovery rate since the onset of the pandemic.

The Downtown Area Plan took a significant step forward today as Denver City Council's South Platte River Committee unanimously advanced the transformative 20-year vision for Downtown Denver. The plan now moves to the full Denver City Council for final adoption.

After 43 years and the past three and a half years under construction, Denver's iconic 16th Street has been reborn!

The Downtown Denver Leadership Program’s Class of 2025 sought to activate an alleyway on 16th Street that told the story of 16th Street as part of their class project. Using images from the Denver Public Library Historical Archives and the Downtown Denver Partnership, the project team curated this temporary mural celebrates 16th Street's evolution through Denver's history.  

The Denver Downtown Development Authority (DDDA) Board of Directors unanimously voted to approve the purchase of Denver Pavilions, a 350K+ square-foot retail destination located on Denver’s iconic 16th Street.
