Thinking about holiday cards in August? We are too. Whether you're planning ahead for the perfect family photo or just want to capture downtown at its best angles, we've rounded up some of the most picture-perfect spots Downtown Denver has to offer. Grab your camera (or just your phone) and start wandering. Here's where to go.
Denver Union Station
📍 1701 Wynkoop St, Denver, CO 80202
Home to one of three Skynets installations, Union Station is a can't-miss for a quick photo. Bonus: you can catch Skynets in two other spots downtown too, Skyline Park and Glenarm Plaza, so grab a few different angles across all three.
Sculpture Park
📍 1245 Champa St, Denver, CO 80204
This park is home to an iconic 60-foot sculpture by artist Jonathan Borofsky. It's hard to miss and even harder not to photograph, a true downtown landmark against the city skyline.
Glenarm Plaza
📍 Glenarm Place, Denver, CO 80202 (between 15th & 16th Streets)
Glenarm Plaza is packed with public art, from a shimmering grove of steel Aspen Trees to the Skynets sculptures and Sound Discs. Plan to spend a little extra time here, there's a new photo op around every corner.
Daniels and Fisher Clocktower
📍 1601 Arapahoe St, Denver, CO 80202
Take the self-guided tour up to the 17th floor observation deck for the most epic selfie in Downtown Denver, with sweeping views of the city and the Rockies as your backdrop.
Commons Park
📍 2101 15th St, Denver, CO 80202
Head here for one of the best skyline views in the city, especially at sunset. Golden hour hits different with the South Platte River and downtown high-rises in frame.
Larimer Square
📍 1430 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80202
Denver's oldest block is full of charm, think iconic string of flags overhead and a beautifully preserved historic backdrop. It's picturesque any time of day, but especially magical once the lights come on.
Dairy Block
📍 1800 Wazee St, Denver, CO 80202
Duck into the alley for a full-on art experience, murals, sculptures, and installations from local artists around every turn. It's one of the most photogenic (and Instagrammed) spots in LoDo.
Denver Postcard
📍 16th Street, between Arapahoe and Curtis Street
Step into a picture perfect postcard, most literally. The oversized, colorful "Denver" sign made for snapping the ultimate share worthy shot.
