The Downtown Denver Partnership is excited to unveil our 2026 calendar of signature events and programs designed to bring together Denver's civic and business leaders. These gatherings provide opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, and accelerate the work shaping Downtown Denver's future.
Signature Events
Downtown Denver Partnership’s Annual Meeting | February 18
The year kicks off with our Annual Meeting on the morning of February 18 at Block 162. Newly scheduled to align with the organization's fiscal cycle, this event will showcase the latest data behind downtown's positive momentum and outline strategic priorities for 2026 as we work to create the best downtown in the nation.
Downtown Denver Awards | November 12
Downtown's biggest night returns on the evening of November 12 with the Downtown Denver Awards. The celebration will feature an intimate dinner honoring award winners and champions, followed by a larger reception at Denver Union Station.
Signature Programs
Downtown Denver Leadership Program | February – November
Applications are now open for the 2026 cohort of the Downtown Denver Leadership Program, beginning in February 2026. For more than 20 years, the Downtown Denver Leadership Program has developed emerging leaders who are passionate about shaping our center city. Denver organizations are encouraged to nominate their emerging leaders for this transformative professional development opportunity.
Urban Exploration: Berlin | June 16 – 19
The Partnership's destination-based experiential program, Urban Exploration, is heading to Berlin from June 16 to 19. Urban Exploration takes a cohort of Denver’s most influential leaders to a peer or aspirational city to learn from experts and study bold ideas in city building, bringing back insights that spark action. Registration will open on January 14, 2026.
City Scout: Montreal | September 9 – 11
The Downtown Denver Partnership’s City Scout Program brings local stakeholders to another city to conduct a deep dive on a project or initiative that is highly relevant to a specific project we are advancing in Downtown Denver. In 2026, we’re heading to Montreal from September 9 to 11, offering participants the chance to explore how arts and culture drive downtown vitality and economic growth.

Colorado's premier free celebration of startups and innovation, Colorado Startup Week, returns September 14 to 18, 2026, bringing together the people powering bold ideas forward.
9NEWS Parade of Lights | December 5
The beloved 9NEWS Parade of Lights illuminates downtown on December 5, 2026. This cherished holiday tradition, spanning over five decades, continues to bring the community together to celebrate the magic of the season.
