POP! Brings Joy to Downtown Denver

Be among the first to experience the joy of "POP!" – Downtown Denver's newest interactive art installation! The Downtown Denver Partnership is thrilled to invite you to the opening celebration of "POP!" this Saturday in Downtown Denver. This isn't just another art installation – it's an invitation to rediscover joy through collective participation and unexpected connections. “POP!” by Gentilhomme features five playful characters — Popo, Popup, Poplu, Popette, and Popotin — who are hidden inside the monoliths. Visitors will need to engage directly with the installation by speaking into a microphone to persuade them to spring forth from their hideaways. Once freed, these unconventional personalities kick off an impromptu celebration filled with music and movement. Opening Celebration Details:

  • What: "POP!" Interactive Installation Opening Celebration

  • When: This Saturday, March 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Where: Outdoors at Independence Plaza, located on 16th Street between Arapahoe and Curtis Streets

  • Cost: FREE and open to all ages!

  • What to Expect: Free family-friendly activities including facepainting, free doughnuts from Voodoo Doughnut and hot chocolate from Trompeau Bakery (while supplies last), pop-up illusion experiences from Museum of Illusions, kid's crafts, games, music, and more!
