Opening Day is almost here, and Downtown Denver is going all out to welcome back baseball season. Whether you're heading into Coors Field or celebrating from the neighborhood, here's everything happening on Friday, April 3.
$3 Beers on The Rooftop
Get to the ballpark early and head straight to The Rooftop and Coors Light Silver Bullet Bar for $3 beer specials, available only before the scheduled first pitch. Once the game starts, the deal is gone.
McGregor Square
April 3 | 9 AM – 11 PM
Denver's premier game day destination is throwing a full-day Opening Day party right across the street from Coors Field. Catch all the pregame action on the 66-foot Big Screen, then stay and watch the game alongside fellow fans if you don't have tickets. Drink specials start at 9 AM and a live DJ duo takes over at 10:30 AM.
Larimer Square
April 3 | 11 AM – 2 PM
Larimer Square is throwing a block party in the heart of Downtown to kick off the season. Expect DJ sets, Rockies-themed street art by Imagine Murals, and family-friendly fun. Show up early, the first 50 guests score a free drink and the first 100 kids take home a free toy baseball.
Dairy Block
April 3 | 11 AM – 7:30 PM
Dairy Block is your all-day Opening Day destination with something happening before and after the game. Pregame highlights include a live DJ, pop-up bars with Rockies-themed cocktails, a Living Wall photo-op, and gameday swag. For the food lovers: grab Rockpile Dumplings from YumCha, Rockies Purple Croissants from LoDough Bakery, and free popcorn from Sarah O. Jewelry. After the game, Be Kind Rewind takes the stage for a live performance from 5:30–7:30 PM.
The Maven: Ember & Stitch Pop-Up

Head to The Maven lobby for one of the most unique Opening Day experiences in the neighborhood. Ember & Stitch is setting up shop so you can customize and brand your very own purple bandana or real leather baseball glove, a one-of-a-kind keepsake from game day in Downtown Denver. While you're in the area, Dairy Block is steps away with even more Opening Day specials from Kachina Cantina, Poka Lola, and more.
Limelight Denver
April 3 | 11 AM – 1:30 PM
Limelight is hosting an elevated tailgate in the valet area with everything on the menu at $5, food and drinks. We're talking wagyu hot dogs, game-day bites, drink specials, and a DJ to set the pre-game mood. It's the perfect last stop before heading to Coors Field.
Church and Union: Baseball Home Opener Brunch
April 3
Kick off Opening Day with a themed brunch at Church and Union. A great way to start the day before the neighborhood festivities ramp up.
Poka Lola
